    Chef Marcela Valladolid's Post

Last year, along with my mom, we honored the children that died in our custody. In the custody of ICE. These are their names. I like this new tradition. So many names need to be honored this year as well. My mother’s death, as unnatural as it felt in that moment, was a gift in how it happened. I held her hand as she transitioned. This year the plan is to honor those who’s life was stolen from them too early, like these children. Please comment with name you’d like me to honor and, along with my list, I will add a few at random.
